Premium Fly Ash for Stronger Foundations
We are committed to strengthening the construction industry in Pakistan with premium-quality fly ash. Our mission is to deliver reliable, high-performance materials that meet the evolving demands of modern construction. Sourced from leading power plants, our fly ash strictly complies with ASTM C618 international standards, ensuring consistency and durability in every batch. Our flagship product, ULTRA ASH, is recognised for its superior quality and dependable performance in concrete applications. With a strong focus on innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, we continue to support stronger and more sustainable infrastructure across Pakistan. At Javed Brothers Engineering, trust and durability form the foundation of everything we deliver.
WHAT IS FLY ASH?
Fly ash is a by-product of coal-based thermal power plants, generated during the combustion of pulverized coal. It is a fine, grey amorphous powder rich in silica and alumina, with naturally spherical particles. These micron-sized particles are collected from the gases produced during electricity generation. Compared to Portland cement, fly ash particles are more spherical, allowing them to flow and blend easily in concrete mixtures. This unique property improves workability, strength, and durability in construction applications.

How Fly Ash is Produced?
Fly ash is produced during the combustion of pulverized coal in coal-fired power stations. As coal burns in the boiler, fine ash particles rise with the flue gases and pass through several systems such as the economiser, air preheater, and electrostatic precipitator. These systems capture the fine particles before the gases are released through the stack. The collected fine powder, known as fly ash, typically forms about 70–90% of the total ash produced and is widely used as a valuable material in concrete and construction.
